To make it clear I am not using these services and I can't even remember the moment when I enrolled for them. In any case, I did not receive any notification about upcoming renewal otherwise I would just cancel it.

You will never receive any warning about renewal. Worse customer service as they make it almost impossible to delete your account. Their automated system is basically their wall to make it impossible to deal with them in a professional ethical manner.

Awful company that - hopefully - will go bankrupt ASAP. As a recruitment business we rely on Xing and Linkedin as networking tools. From a technical point of view, Xing is years behind Linkedin.

Their search engine and website interface are outdated, difficult to use and incredibly ineffective. Since German candidates still insist in using Xing as their main social network, we had no other choice but signing up.

Every time I had a question or require customer service help, I was ignored and had to chase many times. When I raised a complaint, the staff was rude and didn't seem to care and seemed to treat it as a nuisance.

The only time when you were quick with your response was when I was about to sign a new contract. Las year, after a lot of unpleasant exchanges, I reluctantly renewed the licence with a condition that "no autorenewal" will take place at the end of the 12 month and the contract will come to a natural end.

Fastforwards 12 months later, I had another bill slapped in my face from their Debtmanagement team. I replied to say I never agreed to the autorenewal.

A few days later I had a rude email from their account manager saying I would have to tell them 3 month in advance and forced the 12 month contract on me again.

Weirdly he didn't even read the contract and it explicitly said "Autorenewal was NOT agreed". I cannot wait for another company to take over this unethical business, reshape their customer service attitude or better yet come up with a better platform for the German market.

If your business is like mine where you have no choice but signing up to Xing, I'll have 2 advices for you. No ethical business should be using this to tie you in financially.

If they insist on it walk away. And 2 as soon as you find a different tool to replace Xing and avoid dealing with this horrific company, DO IT.

No company should make you feel this way and a penny spent on them is a penny too much. I initially bought the premium on my phone through the app thanks God, google cancelled it easily.

Right after buying it every time I would try to use my "premium subscription" I would get the message "Please wait a moment while we activate your Premium Membership".

Of course I waited until the next day patiently, but after 24 hours would still show the same message again. After that I contacted the customer support by email no answer for 2 days , I called and they asked me to send the proof that I paid for the subscription which I sent again by email.

Another 2 days, with an answer to turn on and off my phone, close the app and etc. I did everything and still didn't work, so I patiently again answered the email.

And guess what? No answer again, I called their terrible customer service that not just cannot help at all but is also super rude.

The person hang up the phone while I was talking, pretended to be someone else when I called again and after sent an impolite email.

Luckily Google Play store cancelled everything and I got my money back. But after reading so many bad reviews over here I guess I understand why they try to make as hard as possible to buy inside the app.

As if you buy over the website, for what I read here, they charge you more and it's hard or almost impossible to cancel.

Stay away from the premium version of this website and app, because if you have to contact them you are going to have a hard time to get whatever you need technically or financially.

Xing are not telling their customers you are going to massive increase of the price after the one year premium membership and also not sending out any warning and invoice about prolongation for 1 -year, so you cannot react and cancel membership.

The invoice for euro came the day after the period had expired, so it was already too late. The price of Premium membership increased from 35,40 euro to 95,40 euro and Add-ons from 47,46 euro to ,40 euro.

An increase of euros total. If you need to cancel the Premium membership you have do it minimum 3 weeks before the end of your period.

Otherwise, every other service provider let's you cancel after a 3-month period, also there are no warnings that the membership is being prolonged for a whole year before it happens.

The only answer I got from Xing was a standard copy paste answer when contacting customer service In future I would highly warn about Xing to my friends, family and any in this forum about these conditions and I think it is not a very good business model to make earnings this way.

It would be wonderful if Xing delivered any better services and easier navigation through your site easier to answer urgent questions and possibility to call you.

Moral of the story. Please please please stay away from Xing's premium subscription. XING has complicated payment rules. They keep charging you, if you don't cancel your subscription in time under certain time period.

As I did not find it very helpful, I was not planning on renewing my membership. Little did I know Xing does not have the courtesy to send their customers a subscription reminder, and I was billed for a new 3 month term, and a higher rate.

I finally recieved a very rude email today, explaining what I should do. In the email they said "it is not our fault you forgot your password.

It was saved as an automatic login. That is not why I could not get into my account. Further more they claimed they had send me an email before to assist me.

I never received an email from them pertaining to this before today. This is the worse customer service I have ever experienced. I can't believe a company is allowed to profit from people who are too busy to remember to cancel a subscription 3 weeks before their initial subscription is up.

This site is good only if you know German and looking for jobs in Germany. I saw very less English speaking jobs. I got more interview calls and received a couple of offers with LinkedIn premium.

Xing Premuim subscription is OK to get few features of what you get in LinkedIn for free like profile visitors. Projobs subscription is a beautiful package with tempting marketing content to fool their customers.

They just present in good numbers via email of what you get in premium. Resume guidance is their marketing trick to make their users pay more for the resume services.

It's so bad, I don't even know where to start. You can't find your own post after you published it. Even if you find it - you can't edit it, the only option is to remove the post entirely.
